Brank
Simply put, Brank is a mystery. He says little and offers no explanation. We know he is based somewhere in the west coast of the United States, but we’re not even sure whether he ever wants to be identified. His artist name refers to an ancient metal gag (sometimes called a Scold’s Bridle) which was used as a mild form of torture in the 1600s, principally used for scolding housewives. Enshrouded in this mystery, only the essential truth remains: electrosynthpop never sounded this interesting before.
